Cliff Vandercave's (Kyle MacLachlan) Slingshot Gun from Brian Levant's 1994 take on the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon, The Flintstones. In the film, Fred Flintstone (John Goodman) finds unexpected wealth when he is promoted at work, causing a rift in his friendship with Barney (Rick Moranis) and Betty (Rosie O'Donnell). Cliff can be seen brandishing this gun during the film's climax as Fred attempts to save Pebbles and Bam Bam from Cliff's death trap.
This item is made from a variety of materials and has a wooden frame with a resin exterior that has been textured to appear as though it were stone. The gun features a metal trigger that once operated the firing mechanism to launch the foam 'rock' pellets. The pellets have been glued to strips of leather that have been fastened to the top track.
Due to production use and age, this item features minor wear, including some paint chipping and scuffs to the resin, however it remains in overall very good condition.
