A Clan MacLeod battle banner from the sci-fi action film Highlander. The film follows Connor, an Immortal who has lived for centuries, changing identity to stay hidden from his kind and avoid losing his head as part of the “Game”. With only a handful of Immortals remaining, a warrior from Connor’s past returns for his head. In the end, there can be only one…
This banner was carried into battle by one of the Clan MacLeod as they battled with the Clan Fraser, allies of the Kurgan (Clancy Brown) as he sought to claim the head of the unawakened Immortal Connor. This style of banner can be seen flying as the Clan MacLeod march toward the awaiting Fraser army. The banner is made from a coarse red canvas material with a black ox head device attached near the banner pole mount. Metal rings run down the side for attaching it to a banner pole. The banner has been distressed to look hard-worn from its use in battle in the Scottish Highlands, with some fraying and wear applied by the production.

In good production-used condition, the banner comes in a custom-made display featuring the film’s title artwork and stills from the production.
