Michael Murphy's (Taylor Kitsch) Stunt M4A1 Carbine Rifle from Peter Berg's 2014 war drama, Lone Survivor. Tasked with capturing or killing the notorious Taliban leader, Ahmad Shah, SEAL Team 10 encounters more than they bargained for during their dangerous mission, Operation Red Wings. Murphy can be seen using this style of firearm throughout the film.
Made from foam rubber, this stunt weapon has been painted in a desert camouflage color. Cast from an actual Colt M4A1, this firearm includes original factory markings embedded on the side of the weapon. This item features numerous accessories built into the firearm including an M203 grenade launcher, AN/PEQ-2 IR Designator and a Trijicon ACOG sight. Stunt weapons such as this piece are commonly used for distance shots when a hero piece is not needed; they are lighter and therefore easier for the actors to handle. They are also used for stunt sequences in which the actor could possibly fall on the prop and injure themselves if they were holding the hero version.
Murphy's rifle features minor wear from production use, including some paint chipping, however it remains in overall very good condition.
The violent crime reduction bill means that this particular prop can only be sold to customers who reside outside the UK. Generally speaking, it is illegal for a resident of the UK to buy this item.
