A torso and head bust from the 2010 horror film Mirrors 2. This torso appliance and head feature the likeness of Jenna McCarty (Christy Romano) from the film, who brutally dies after she slips in the shower, her head severed by a pane of glass in the process. Several different versions of this style torso and head can be seen in a behind the scenes featurette on the DVD release titled: "Keeping it Real: The Visual and Special Effects of Mirrors 2."
The torso features plastic tubing protruding from the bottom for production to pump stage blood to the neck area for effects shots. The head is made of foam rubber and features glass eyes, and the likeness of the actress, with a bloody area around the neck's bottom where a long plastic pipe extends from within. The head measures approximately 22" x 8" (56cm x 20cm) including the pipe.
This set also includes a foam rubber body featuring a flesh tone foam latex chest piece; the torso does not feature arms and ends at the lower stomach where four metal pipes are protruding from the bottom. The torso has an opening in the back and features a large amount of faux blood. The body measures approximately 31" x 17" (79cm x 43cm). Both pieces are in good condition.
