This is an effects prop which has been restored with easy to use power controls, which control the scanners mechanical movements when connected to an electrical power supply. The item comes in a closable black case with a hinge clasp latch. When opened, the case exposes every mechanical detail used in the operation of the machine. The walls are covered in metal power units as well as wires, blue power hook ups and electronic servos. The same set up continues down through the base where the head stand is connected.
Surrounding the resin made head is a halo like metal device that moves vertically while two oscillating units revolve around the head. In the film the moving units cut and paint the raw mold. The power switch and controller are connected to the bottom front corners, with the controller able to extend 12”(30cm) from the case. Light pink remnants from the actual film production can still be seen throughout the interior of the casing. Additionally, this item comes with the raw silicon mask and head support used in the film.
