A Cherno Alpha Ground Crew (Mila P.) Costume from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. This costume was worn by a member of the Russian Jaeger’s team.

The costume’s components were customized for production. The jacket is a green weather proof material that features the Cherno Alpha logo on the front and back and Russian writing. A PPDC (Pan Pacific Defense Corps) patch is affixed to the right shoulder. A grey tank top (labeled 40) is worn underneath the jacket and is labeled for Mila. The grey/brown cargo pants feature fabric ankle attachments that cause the legs to puff out (see photos). The pants are also labeled for Mila. The black boots are lined with faux fur and are labeled for another actor. The black leather belt features a wooden control pack. The costume is finished with a checkered scarf, orange bandana, grey cap, and PPDC ID card. All pieces feature light wear from production but remain in good condition.
