Dr. Newton Geiszler's (Charlie Day) Sydney Kaiju Sample from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorize earth, so humans build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. This item can be seen in the K-Lab of the Shatterdome during the early scene in which Dr. Newton Geiszler (Charlie Day) compares a Kaiju sample from the attack in Sydney with a sample from the Kaiju attack in Manila.
The Sydney Kaiju sample is made from silicone and is blue and purple in color with unique alien shaped surfaces on both sides. This item shows some wear to the silicone due to production use and storage, however the piece remains in overall very good condition. This piece measures 13” x 8.5” x 3.5” (33 cm x 22 cm x 9 cm).
