A Gipsy Danger Ready Room Costume from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. The ground crew can be seen near the beginning of the film when Gipsy Danger fights the Kaiju Knifehead.
The costume consists of cream-colored coveralls (size 50) with the Gipsy Danger logo on the back. The coveralls also have patches that include the PPDC logo, “Pan Pacific Defense Corps,” “Pacific 1st Defense,” and an Alaska patch that reads “North to the Future.” The coveralls zip up the front and have pockets on the chest and legs. The costume also includes a cap with the PPDC patch sewn on to the front; a black, long-sleeved t-shirt (Size L); a pair of work gloves (size L); plastic work goggles; and black work boots (size 10). The costume was distressed with dirt and oil for the production. This costume shows minor wear due to production use and storage, but is in overall good condition.
