A Hannibal Chau (Ron Perlman) Kaiju Tank from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorize earth, so humans build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. Hannibal Chau runs an operation that dissects dead Kaiju and harvests their organs. This tank can be seen displaying Kaiju parts in his laboratory.

The large tank is made of a rich wood base and top sculpted with detailed design, and clear orange plastic rounded to make the tank. There is a honeycomb grid at the base of the tank, and grates around the outside. There is a pipe sticking out of the side which was used to fill the tank with liquid. The heavy tank has wheels to assist in moving. The piece shows light wear due to production use and storage, but is in overall great condition. This piece measures 33” x 33” x 87” (84 cm x 84 cm x 221 cm).
