A Kaiju Butcher (Kim Banh) Costume from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. In the film, Hannibal Chau (Ron Perlman) profits on dead Kaiju pieces, and keeps butchers in his secret shop to create products.

This costume includes a button down shirt (size small), tie, vest, pants, apron, sandals, visor and sleeve bands . The shirt is white with blue dye stains on the sleeves to simulate Kaiju blood. The tie is a black and gold design with more Kaiju “blood” stains. A tag on the back labels it for Eddy Wong, likely another featured extra involved with the film. The grey vest also features dye stains and a production tag labeling it for Wong. The pants are a checkered pattern fabric and are labeled for Wong. The sandals are made of brown leather, feature blue paint stains and are labeled for “Kim”. The apron is made of coated vinyl with the majority of the front painted in blue blood stains. The black leather visor and sleeve bands complete the look. The costume components all remain in good condition.
