A large Kaiju Organ on a gurney from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorize earth, so humans build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. This item can be seen in the K-Lab of the Shatterdome during the early scene in which Dr. Newton Geiszler (Charlie Day) and Dr. Hermann Gottlieb (Burn Gorman) share their research with Pentecost (Idris Elba).

The Kaiju organ is made from silicone and resides on a medical examination table. The organ is blue in color, and alien in shape with a soft and slimy texture. Along with the smooth surface found on most of the organ, there are some areas that have been crafted to look similar to Geode crystals with sparkling purple spikes emerging from within the specimen. The examination table is a purchased Shor-Line KCMO medical table, and includes a rotating top, foot pedal, and stainless steel construction.

This item shows some wear to the silicone due to production use and storage, but the piece remains in overall very good condition. This piece measures 24” x 60” x 57” (61 cm x 152 cm x 145 cm).
