A PPDC Mess Hall Worker (Neal Adams) Costume from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. Throughout the film, workers in the PPDC (Pan Pacific Defense Corps) mess hall can be seen wearing costumes like this.

This costume consists of a button down shirt, outer shirt, pants, shoes and hat. The button-down shirt is grey with dark grey checks. The undershirt is tan. The outer shirt was customized for production with a PPDC patch on the left arm and a mandarin arm band pinned to the right. The grey slacks are lightly distressed. The black dress shoes also show distress with mud stains still present. The plain grey hat completes the costume. All pieces feature wear but remain in good condition.
