Raleigh (Charlie Hunnam) and Yancy Becket’s (Diego Klattenhoff) Drift Lot from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorize earth, so humans build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. In order to control the Jaegers, two pilots merge their minds, called “drifting.” The “drift” causes a series of flashbacks, all with muted color tones. These pieces were used for Raleigh and Yancy’s flashback in which young version of the boys can be seen playing with marbles in one shot and eating dinner with their parents in another.

The lot consists of a plate of food, salad, plastic dinnerware, marbles, and a soccer ball. All of these items have been painted grey, except the marbles, which have a light blue and white color. The food is fake, made of foam and plastic; some of the pieces are glued together and glued to the paper plate. The marbles are standard marbles, three larger white ones, and nineteen smaller blue ones. The soccer ball has lost its air and may have a hole in it. These pieces show some wear due to production use and storage but are in overall good condition. This ball features a diameter of 9” (23 cm).
