A Helipad Shatterdome Mechanic Costume from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. This uniform is worn by a worker on the deck of the PPDC’s helipad. This costume consists of a t-shirt, sweater, jumpsuit, boots, coat, gloves, face mask, and hat.

The grey shirt (size medium) with plaid pattern and grey sweater (size medium) show light wear from production. The jumpsuit (size 36/44) includes custom markings on the leg, a bar code printed along the back, a damaged name patch over the right breast and a patch reading “PPDC” (Pan Pacific Defense Corps) on the left. The white coat, gloves, and boots are water resistant. The boots (size 10) are dyed along the bottoms with blue ink to simulate Kaiju blood. The white clothe face mask also features light blue Kaiju discoloration. The black beanie hat completes the costume. All pieces remain in good condition.
