A Silver Shatterdome Mechanic Costume from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. This costume was worn by a background actor while filming the wall scenes. This costume includes a t-shirt, sweater, jumpsuit, boots, gloves, belt, hat and scarf.

The grey t-shirt and dark grey sweater both feature wear from production, with the collar of the t-shirt cut away in the front. The dark grey jumpsuit is largely coated in metallic silver paint to distinguish it from other styles seen in the Shatterdome scenes. Areas all over the suit feature natural cracking from the use. The back of the suit also features large Chinese characters and an icon of a Kaiju made with white paint. A painted over name tag over the right breast reads “Jon”. The black work boots are labeled size 9 ½. The black work belt, distressed gloves, hat, and scarf complete the costume. All pieces feature wear but remain in good condition.
