A Striker Eureka Ground Crew (Gareth Moyse) Costume from Guillermo Del Toro’s 2013 mega monster movie Pacific Rim. In the film, a race of monsters, called ‘Kaiju,’ terrorizes earth, forcing mankind to build a team of massive robots, called ‘Jaegers,’ to battle the monsters and save the world. This costume was by a member of the Australian Jaeger team. The costume includes multiple pieces customized by production for the film.

The jacket is custom made by production and features the Striker Eureka logo on the breast and a plastic PPDC (Pan Pacific Defense Corps) patch on the right arm. A large “SE” is printed on the back. Under the jacket a grey American Apparel T-shirt, a sweater vest (size large), and a canvas work vest. Both shirt and work vest feature labels for Moyse. The tan cargo pants (size 33) also feature a tag for Moyse. A pair of work boots (size 7) are included, though not original to the costume. The piece is finished with a cloth work belt, hat, sunglasses, necklace and a PPDC badge. The costume and components have been distressed to appear worn but remain in good condition.
