Prop Store is proud to present an exclusive offering of ‘The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists’ stop motion puppets, props and set pieces from Aardman and Sony Pictures Animation.

Hammhead Harry is featured in the Pirates of the Year Awards sequence, cheering the Pirate Captain as he claims the coveted honour of Pirate of the Year – although this celebration is rather short-lived after Black Bellamy reveals the royal pardon given by Queen Victoria to the Captain; subsequently stripping him of his right to be a pirate! Harry’s clothing is made from foam latex with pink silicone skin, he also features plasticine surrounding his eyes and eyelids to allow for maximum manoeuvrability; this is all built around an intricate internal metal armature which enables him to be positioned in any pose. His interchangeable mouth is ‘Rapid Prototyped’ resin which is attached using a small magnet. There is a small tear in the underneath of his shorts but is otherwise in excellent production used condition. He is presented here on a custom-made display stand and measures approximately 34.5cm (13.25”) tall with the stand measuring approximately 16x14.5cm (6.25x5.75”) around the base.

With a rag-tag crew at his side and seemingly blind to the impossible odds stacked against him, the Captain has one dream: to beat his bitter to the much coveted Pirate Of The Year Award. It's a quest that takes our heroes from the shores of exotic Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London. Along the way they do battle with the pirate-hating Queen Victoria and team up with a young Charles Darwin, but never lose sight of what a pirate loves best: adventure!
