Newgate Ned is featured in ‘The Barnacles Face’ tavern on Blood Island as he enjoys a drink with fellow swashbucklers! He can be seen doubled-up with laughter after Black Bellamy reveals the Pirate Captains plans to enter the Pirate of the Year competition! Ned’s elaborate outfit is made from foam latex and a silicone boot, and features great detail including a gold-trimmed waistcoat and a resin peg leg. His head is resin and there is a small amount of plasticine around his pose-able eyes. Ned’s entire body has been built around an intricate internal steel skeleton which allows for him to be easily posed and animated. There is small dent in the plasticine of his eyebrow but other than this he remains in brilliant production used condition. Ned stands at approximately 30cm (11.75”) including his bespoke display stand which measures approximately 13.5x12.5cm (5.25x4.75”) around the base.
