Davy Jones' (Bill Nighy) SFX Heart from Gore Verbinksi's 2007 swashbuckling adventure sequel, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End! After rescuing Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) from Davy Jones' locker, the crew of the Black Pearl must make a final stand against Jones and the Flying Dutchman. Serving as the central McGuffin of Dead Man's Chest and At World's End, Davy Jones' heart is sought after by both Jack Sparrow and Lord Beckett, as the owner of Davy Jones' heart commands the Flying Dutchman. In the film, Davy Jones cut out his heart after betraying Calypso and kept the organ in the Dead Man's Chest.
This version of Davy Jones' heart was made for the scene in which Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) stabs the piece during the climactic battle at sea. Crafted from silicon, this SFX heart has been outfitted with a clear plastic tube that was used to pump blood during the stabbing scene. The silicon has torn in certain areas, and there are areas where the paint has flaked away, leaving the heart is fair condition.
