A Prototype Classic Predator Skull from the Robert Rodriguez-produced 2011 sci-fi horror film, Predators. In the film, a group of human warriors are brought to an otherworldly planet where they are hunted by a vicious alien race known as Predators. In the film, the team of men find a Classic Predator tied to a pike in the Super Predators’ camp. This prototype is an early version of the Classic Predator skull that can be seen on the ground in the camp.
The skull is sculpted out of a dense, polyurethane foam, painted grey. It is sculpted to conceptualize the inside of a Predator’s head, with an insectoid form featuring an elongated front that comes to a point with two small teeth, and mandible. The mandible is glued to the skull, and there are metal rods sticking out of the front of the skull that would have held pincers; however, the pincers are no longer present.
This skull shows some minor wear due to age and storage, but it is in overall good condition.
