A Stunt River Ghost (Ram Runner) Mask from Robert Rodriguez's 2011 sci-fi horror film, Predators. In the film, a group of human warriors are brought to an otherworldly planet where they are hunted by a vicious alien race known as Predators. Early in the film the River Ghost chases Edwin (Topher Grace) as Isabelle (Alice Braga) tries to shoot the beast with a sniper rifle.
This stunt mask is made of foam latex, painted a dark grey and brown with red accents. It is sculpted in the shape of an insectoid head with narrow jaws and rigid, bony features. The mask comes with a set of teeth appliances that covered the mouth with thick gums. This is a stunt piece because the hero mask did not have eye holes. This mask would have helped Carey Jones, the actor in the suit, see while he was chasing Topher Grace. The mask comes on a foam bust of Jones’ head.
The mask features minor wear due to age and production use, but it is in overall great condition.
