A shirt worn in the production of the sci-fi action film Serenity. Pursued by the Alliance and the merciless Operative (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and with everyone they know being killed, Captain Mal Reynolds (Nathan Fillion) and his crew must protect assassination target River Tam (Summer Glau) and confront a dark secret from the Alliance’s past.
This shirt was worn by Mal Reynolds during his climactic battle with the Operative in Mr Universe’s (David Krumholtz) complex, as the two fight over a disk containing evidence implicating the Alliance in terrible crimes against its people. This particular shirt would have likely been worn by Nathan Fillion in the role of Mal during the film’s fight sequences for stunt purposes, and is marked “stunt” within.

The pale brown shirt is made from cotton and features magnetic fasteners down the front and on the cuffs. Distressed for use during the fight sequences, the shirt features a gaping singed and bloody hole on the back from where The Operative plays dirty and shoots him in the back.

Distressed and displaying some minor wear from use on the sci-fi production, the shirt remains in very good condition. No sizes are marked.
