Spacedock panel detail sheets made for the production of Leonard Nimoy’s science fiction film Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. In this sequel, Kirk and his crew steal the Enterprise in order to recover Spock’s body from the planet Genesis. These sheets were used as patterns to create detail on the large Spacedock model during the film’s extensive special effects scenes.

Each pattern design is printed on paper and attached to a thick piece of black cardboard. In total, there are eight pieces of cardboard featuring surface details and each is numbered from I to VIII. Also included with the surface detail pieces are three production copies. These production copies are labeled as belonging to Star Trek III and have instructions on them for size reduction.

Some pieces are lifting slightly from their cardboard around the edges and corners but these surface details remain in overall good condition.
