A "Troy" Borg Appliance made for the sci-fi series, Star Trek Voyager. This borg appliance rests on a wood display stand with "Star Trek Voyager Troy Borg" written on the base, possibly indicating that it was made for a background actor named Troy, or for Starfleet Officer Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis), however Troi is never assimilated into the Borg Collective during the series. This appliance is made from foam latex and resembles the Borg's signature cybernetic scalp with a dark grey electronic implants over a pale grey and hairless scalp. The appliance runs down the back of the neck, and lines the face where it would be blended in with makeup. Protruding from one side of the appliance are two foam cables which would have connected to the costume. Below the cords is a plastic red gem, which stood in for the Borg's red laser.
This appliance shows wear to the foam latex which has hardened with age and cracked along the edges (see photos), leaving it in fragile, yet overall good condition.
