Drexl (Gary Oldman) Necklace Set from Tony Scott's 1993 crime drama, True Romance. In the film, romance ignites between Clarence (Christian Slater) and Alabama (Patricia Arquette), as they become entangled in the drug trade after stealing cocaine from a pimp with dangerous connections. These two necklaces were hand picked by director Tony Scott during costume fittings for actor Gary Oldman, who can be seen wearing the pair during his violent confrontation with Clarence.
The first necklace features a large talon that has been threaded by a very thin black cord with six red beads on either side. The second necklace features a locking metal beaded chain with nine small talons hanging from the lower half of the jewelry. Both necklaces have been textured with stage blood, which can be seen on the talons, from the sequence in which Drexl fights Clarence. When laid flat, the larger necklace measures approximately 19" (48cm) long with the larger talon measuring 2.5" x 1" (6cm x 3cm). Both items remain in very good condition.
