He spent over 20 years building the world’s largest auction venue for vintage film posters, with over $150 million in value sold. His trusted experience in film, vintage travel, war, advertising, and music posters is world-renowned.

With over 44 years of experience in the poster collecting hobby, John has been a major collector and dealer of original movie memorabilia and is an expert on the Silent Film Era. He is the co-owner of an online website that offers silent film memorabilia exclusively and his clients include the top private collectors as well as major institutions. Additionally, John has written numerous articles for trade-related publications and served two terms on the Board of Directors of Hollywood Heritage Inc., a non-profit organization that preserves and promotes the history and artifacts of Hollywood.

Mark Hochman is the Consignments Consultant for Music and Posters at Propstore in the UK. He oversees all content for Propstore’s Music auctions and UK Poster content. Since joining Propstore in 2022, Mark has been instrumental in building Propstore’s Music category, bringing iconic collections to market featuring artists like Oasis, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson, and Prince.

A veteran of the movie poster collection industry, Mark has been a prominent figure since the 1980s, founding one of the UK’s leading poster websites in 2005. Renowned for his reputation as a knowledgeable and trusted specialist, he has established strong relationships with artists and industry professionals across the Music and Poster sectors in the UK.

Alastair McCrea is a Consignments Specialist at Propstore UK with over 15 years’ experience in the auction industry. He specialises in entertainment and pop culture consignments, including film and television memorabilia, vintage posters, music collectibles and sports memorabilia. Working with private collectors, estates and institutions across the UK, Europe and the USA, he is known for his market insight, strong industry relationships and commitment to integrity.

Previously holding senior roles at leading auction houses, Alastair helped develop major memorabilia departments. At Propstore, he continues to expand global consignments networks, helping clients maximise value while preserving the stories behind exceptional artefacts.
